Connect an Azure subscription
Enter an Azure service principal in Secorvia, identify the subscription, and verify security scan results.
Reviewed
Before you start
Have an Azure service principal authorized for the intended subscription, plus the tenant, client, subscription, and secret values.
Choose Azure service-principal authentication
Open Add Cloud Account, enter a descriptive Account Name, and choose Azure: Service Principal under Authentication Method.
Identify the tenant and application
Enter Tenant ID and Client ID. These identify the directory and application used for the connection. Confirm that they belong to the subscription you intend to assess.
Provide the secret and subscription
Enter Client Secret and Subscription ID. Use the secret value, not a display name. Region is optional in this form; choose it if required for your setup.
Review the connected subscription
Submit the form and check Subscription ID, Tenant ID, Connection Status, and Last Validated on the detail page. Follow Scan History, then open account-scoped Inventory and Findings after collection completes.
Where you are now
Secorvia is connected to the intended Azure subscription and its scan can be reviewed independently.
WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS OFF
A few things to check
Connection fails with a valid-looking ID
Confirm the tenant/application pairing, secret expiry, and permissions on the selected subscription.
Expected resources are absent
Check subscription scope and scan completion before changing credentials.
