Connect DigitalOcean and Spaces

Connect DigitalOcean with a read-scope API token and optionally add separate Spaces credentials for object storage scanning.

Reviewed

Before you start

Have a Personal or Team Access Token with read scope. Spaces requires its own credential pair if you want it included.

Select DigitalOcean API Token

Open Add Cloud Account, enter Account Name, and choose DigitalOcean: API Token.

Enter your read-scope token

Paste the API Token. Secorvia derives the account from this token automatically; verify it belongs to the intended personal or team account before saving.

Decide whether to include Spaces

To scan Spaces, enter both Spaces Access Key ID and Spaces Secret Access Key. These are separate from the API token. Leaving both blank skips Spaces scanning while leaving the other supported resource types unaffected.

Verify the connection and scan

Save, inspect the account status, and open Scan History. Once it completes, review the DigitalOcean resource inventory. If you omitted Spaces credentials, do not interpret absent Spaces findings as a successful Spaces assessment.

Where you are now

DigitalOcean is connected with an explicit decision about whether Spaces is included in the scan.

WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS OFF

A few things to check

Spaces resources are missing

Check that both Spaces credentials were supplied and are valid. The DigitalOcean API token alone is not a Spaces credential.

The wrong team appears

Use a token associated with the intended account and correct the connection.
