Send security events to a webhook
Create a Secorvia webhook, select events, save its one-time signing secret, and inspect test deliveries.
Reviewed
Before you start
Have an HTTPS endpoint controlled by your organization and permission to configure the receiver and its secrets.
Add the endpoint
Open Webhooks → Add webhook. Enter the destination URL and optionally a description explaining the integration’s purpose.
Select events
Choose only the Events that the receiver is prepared to process. The webhook sends selected security events to your own system; chat provider configuration belongs in Notifications instead.
Store the signing secret
Save the webhook and copy the signing secret while it is shown. Store it securely and implement signature verification using the API contract for your deployment. Use that contract for the required signature header and verification algorithm.
Test and inspect deliveries
Choose Send test and inspect Deliveries. Confirm that the receiver accepted the payload and processed it as intended. Keep the endpoint Enabled when ready for selected events.
Maintain or retire the endpoint
Use Edit to adjust the endpoint configuration. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone; systems relying on that webhook stop receiving events. Coordinate retirement with the receiver owner.
Where you are now
A tested endpoint receives its selected events and the signing secret is available to the authorized receiver.
WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS OFF
A few things to check
No deliveries yet
Send a test or wait for a selected event to fire.
The signing secret is lost
The app cannot reveal it again. Replace the integration using the management options available in your deployment.
