Connect a cloud account

Add AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean to Secorvia, check connection status, and find the first scan.

Before you start

Use credentials for an account you are authorized to assess. Have the provider-specific details available and confirm your organization can add another account.

Open Add Cloud Account

In Cloud Accounts, choose Add Cloud Account. Enter an Account Name that your team will recognize, such as Production. Choose the Authentication Method for the provider.

Supply the provider connection details

AWS supports an IAM access key or an assumed IAM role, with role authentication marked recommended. Azure uses a service principal. GCP uses a service account JSON key. DigitalOcean uses an API token. Follow the dedicated provider guide below for the fields in each form.

Save and review the connection

Submit the connection form. Open the account detail and check Provider, Connection Status, Credential Type, Region, and Last Validated. Do not paste secrets into names or descriptions. The form stores secret values encrypted and does not show them again after saving.

Find the first scan and discovered resources

The first scan starts after the account is connected. Use the detail page links to Scan History, Inventory, and Findings; these links retain the selected account scope. Wait for completion before assessing coverage.

Where you are now

The account has a saved connection and you can trace its scan, discovered resources, and findings.

WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS OFF

A few things to check

Unable to connect this cloud account

Check the provider, credential validity, identifiers, and permissions. Use the error shown by the connection form to narrow the cause.

Account limit reached

Review Billing usage or ask your organization owner about the account allowance.
